In 2018 Rachel created ‘Follow the Call’, a piece for Mute Festival, Belgium, performing silent tarot readings for promenade audiences. Since then, she has been exploring contemporary tarot and its impacts on mental health, and is developing the character which first emerged at Mute.

“Until now, I have applied attunement, intuition and empathy in a general sense to my work outside my performance. My aim now is to explore ways to integrate and apply these in a performance context by designing a new performance methodology and creating a character who is mysterious yet accessible, with whom audiences can have intimate encounters.”
