Co-director Rachel Porter premiered her new wordless solo piece Somehow By This Darkness at Mute Festival in Gent, Belgium, in September. The piece is about the place of the female body in modern culture, exploring of the darker side of sexualized femininity in the west. It is a search for something hidden in the dance of a woman: by removing the dancer from her trusted musical context, we see the dance in a different light. The audience is enticed and challenged; they become voyeurs, clients and witnesses at the same time.

Rachel performed Somehow By This Darkness at ONCA in Brighton on Saturday December 5th 2015 to mark World Soil Day.
